Server Lagg?

What is wrong with server it was fine, and then it starts lagging and a creeper kills me and i lose all of my diamond, diamond tool set, about 10 diamond, and now i can get back on because the screen just freezes when i log in, please fix this, and i would like my stuff back if this was the servers fault and not my computer.

i also get kicked every time i log in..... black screen with slashing stuff then it kicks me.... :( i wanna play minecraft!!! :D
